It is close to home. You can take several different trails depending on how challenged you want the ride to be. The scenery is beautiful (especially during the spring)

Riding among the giant redwoods is ever so peaceful. Whether the redwoods are shrouded in the damp fog, or basking in the sunshine, the giant trees are always breathtaking.

Only ONE of my many favorites. Trails can be easy to difficult, with long distances or short, with nice views of surrounding mountains. Sadly, ATVs have changed the looks of the trails that were once used only by horses.

The Pilchuck Tree Farm has multiple tracts covering thousands of acres and varied trails. The Armstrong tract trails wind up and down the hillsides through open meadows, woods, streams and more. The footing is amazing with plenty of places to pick up the pace and even gallop if desired. Beautiful wildflowers, open land, pretty tress… trail riding heaven.

Nice moderate riding, but some trails lead to the salt river where the horses can get in.

I love Big South Fork, creeks, nice sandy trails, beautiful rocks. Trails are from very easy to very extreme you can ride all week and not see it all.
