I get to play cowgirl with my beautiful Norwegian Fjord during the summer and move cattle to various pastures.

Fausett Farms has trails that go up and down hills,  skirt fields of sunflowers bordered by a mountain stream, and pass a tranquil lake, all set in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in North Georgia.

This was our first trail ride and ATHCA obstacle challenge, and it was very challenging.  We are both very green.  The photo that you see if where we stopped by the lake in the shade…
